Tethered
People have long wrangled with the concepts of community, of connection with others. Some argue that it is impossible to ever truly connect with those around you, while others say that it’s all but impossible to escape these intangible bonds which tether us to each other. The human condition is to be aware of our own impending death and to search for some kind of meaning, some logic to a universe that can seem so indifferent to us. In this special feature, let’s take a look at how people have explored these topics, of community, of bonds, of meaning in the universe through a number of different art forms.
